Client Reviews
Got these tires for my 08 Honda Civic Hybrid just after the Bridgestones that came with the car or truck wore out at 32850 miles(they are supposed to get 60000). These tires run quiet and honestly grip the road. This week we're possessing two important snowstorms in the Hudson Valley. The roads are covered in slush and snow but these tires have not lost traction on any of it! The Bridgestones would slip and slide giving me a queasy feeling. The Hankooks are also warrantied for 100,000 miles but I will have to see about the genuine globe mileage. I would not hesitate to suggest these tires to any individual.
Got a set of four in September from Tire Rack for $275 installed (at a nearby dealer). I am still amazed that tires this fantastic are so low-priced.
On dry pavement these tires stuck to the road like hot tar, thought they did not really feel as 'firm' as my old tires (most likely just not implemented to them, or require to fiddle with tire pressure) around turns.
Wet pavement was by no means an concern, no matter how deep the puddle they just sailed via as if there was no water there.
Then came the Feb. 1st winter storm (tonight). Driving through 8" of snow with no problems at all, powering through two-4' (that's feet) drifts on the ideal side of the road and watching them break more than the hood of my vehicle like waves. Stopping was drama cost-free, regardless of the road grade or snow cover. No skidding, no sliding, just an even controlled quit.
This is my fourth set of tires on my Mits Galant, and up to now, I thought it was my automobile that was negative in the winter, what a shame it has 225k on it.
Can not speak to the tread life on these, but I typically place on 25k a year. If they put on properly over this year, will surely order a set for my subsequent vehicle.
